SLC: for Lord of the Flies app for iPhone and iPad

SLC: for Lord of the Flies is designed for the GHS 9th Grade SLC Literary Styles class. It uses Panafold’s unique attractor technology to give students a deep understanding of key terms and concepts.  

SLC: for Lord of the Flies introduces high school students to William Golding’s themes through an exploration of the writer’s vocabulary. It challenges students through multi-touch exploration on their iPads.   Students can easily email an image of their work to you or a parent directly from the App.  In this 1.0 Release, your students will explore 15 units of vocabulary from the novel, plus two word packs containing pertinent literary terms.  Students will be challenged to practice and learn vocabulary while they see their key course terms appear in current articles. Once students complete a word pack, they solve a Common Core influenced “challenge” such as “Reflect on rules enforced by peers” and “What character fits a scapegoat archetype?”
